Limitations and drawbacks with existing solutions

With either of the two existing solutions, an applet has to be installed on the machine that needs examination. This either means pre-installation across the entire companys PCs, or it means that the applet has to be pushed to the target machine(s) after the incident has been identified.

The examination then takes place using the company network which, if imaging is required, can be very slow and in turn slows down the corporate network for other users.
